The second is a (+$5 per year, 4 year deal Guaranteed no insurance). This means if you release this player you will be on the hook for remaining salary for each of those years. You may not pay this salary off all in one season. The salary will be taken out of each years Bank.
example:
If I have
David Ortiz ($30) and Mariano Rivera ($30)
1st KE: David Ortiz 1 of 2 ($35) year 2 of 2 ($40)(can add insurance if so desired)
2nd KE: Mariano Rivera 1 of 4 ($35) 2 of 4 ($40) 3 of 4 ($45) 4 of 4 ($50) (no insurance)
So if you drop Rivera in year 2 you would be on the hook for year 3 ($45) and year 4 ($50) in those years
*The only way out of these contracts is player retirement
