Waiver Wire free agents who are receiving pay from their former team because of a guaranteed contract can be signed by a team assuming the player's contract from his former team. The claim for a released free agent's guaranteed contract must last 24 hours. If more than one owner claims such a player, we will use the reverse order of the standings to settle whom wins this player.
