We would like to move on to the phase of the league---RTM Auction. We would like to start on Thursday Morning and we will put up 5-7 players for biding at one time.
-Right to Match Auction-
Any player you have claimed off waivers in the prior season, and who finished the year with your team on either the AR, PL or DL will be auctioned here, with the owner who claimed that player having the right to match the highest bid.
The other type of player who comes with the right to match is a one who has come from your minor league system, and who have spent a full five years on your team with their minor league contract. In this case, if the owner decides not to match, he will be rewarded the following compensation:
For players whose winning bid was over $20- the initial owner will receive a supplemental pick between the first and second round of either the current or next offseason's minor league draft.
For players whose winning bid was between $10-$19 the initial owner will receive a supplemental draft pick between the second and third round of either the current or next offseason's minor league draft.
For players whose winning bid was less than $10, the initial owner will receive a supplemental draft pick after the third round of either the current or next offseason's minor league draft.
Please note: Players who were drafted as minor leaguers, but failed to make the full five years of a minor league contract on a single team will not qualify for this compensation.
Also note: The order of the supplemental round will be determined based on the salaries that these players are awarded, with the highest dollar value garnering the highest supplemental pick. Should there be a case of two players receiving the same amount, we will use last year's standing as the basis for the order of picks, with the team who finished higher in the standings getting the later pick.
Final note: If a player has failed to receive a bid in the Right-to-Match auction, the original owner will get the option of signing a $1 guaranteed or $2 non-guaranteed 1 year contract.
Any Question let me know?
