Just being a little pro-active in case we don't have a season this year.
If there is no season would contracts stand where they are at for next season? We would probably put a free drop provision for a certain amount of players with 1 year contracts.
There could be several options:
1. carry over contracts
2. have a limit of contracts that can be carried over
3. one year contracts will expire (unless franchise tag used)
4. act as though the season happened
Feel free to discuss, this is uncharted waters so any ideas are welcome.
