Any player that is on the FA list posted cannot be nominated before their time on the list posted. Only players NOT LISTED on the FA list can be nominated by a manager.

During the auction there is a transaction freeze meaning you are not able to drop players during the auction. You can however make trades.

make sure you update your rosters as you win your bids and add players into yahoo.

Well, the power outage finally got to me so my access will be limited until power comes back on. I have no idea when and that goes for the dumbasses in power here in Texas....

Good fucking luck buddy! Up here they laid tracks for diesel train engines to be wheeled in town to be used as generators during a similar ice storm in Quebec a few years back. you have until 10:00 am CST to post your contract length's for players won in FA Auction
you can assign a maximum of 3 Auctioned-acquired players 4 year contracts; a maximum of 6 players to 3 year contracts; and the rest, 1 and 2 year contracts. You may add insurance to any multi-year contract.
Insurance
-An owner may, only at the start of a contract, purchase insurance on a player for $1 additional to the contract each year. If the owner decides to terminate a contract with that player, they do not owe money beyond the current year. Otherwise, any owner must buy out the full value of a contract in order to release a player.
Insured players, in the first year of a contract, can only be dropped if they are placed on the 60-day DL in actuality. After the first season however, they can be dropped at the owner's discretion, with the owner claiming back the full sum of the player's salary for that season.
Any player who is insured, and dropped during the season, can be claimed by another owner, with that owner assuming the FULL contract (meaning that if a $45 player is dropped via insurance, and another owner wants to claim him, it will cost the owner $45 dollars).
If you fail to post your declarations all players won will be awarded a 1 year contract, no exceptions.
