Really. Is that why some players don't get picked in the free agent draft? Because they would just take up space, since you can't put them in the farm system

You can sign them to a major league contract if they aren’t drafted in the prospect draft, but they will have to be bid on and they will not be able to be sent down.
Only players off limits are those drafted in this years MLB draft

What do you mean off limits? Are you saying those kids that were drafted in the 2022 MLB Draft, that went undrafted in our prospect draft, those remaining from the 22 draft cannot be selected in the free agent draft

He wouldn't have a minor league contract though.
Tommy would have a regular contract that does not have the option to be assigned to the minors.
MLC are different than a FA or waiver acquisition.

Also, college players are not eligible for the draft. They have to be signed by an MLB team. Any prospect drafted in 2022 or before and is signed by an MLB team is eligible for this years draft. |

I understand that. It's February, so obviously the 2023 mlb draft hasn't even occurred yet. I'm not sure if we're even talking about what the other is. Lol. Just be sure to point out something I do wrong, that way I learn. Lol

Aw yes, the glorious moment before any of these prospects break our hearts with unfulfilled promise.
With the exception of Visor needing to fend off evil executives, the draft went as quickly as could be expected.
